Rutest has launched a cloud-based laboratory service for stress testing network equipment, reducing testing time from several weeks to one or two days. The platform allows users to access testing environments via a browser, eliminating the need to purchase traffic generators or physically ship hardware to a lab.

The platform supports traffic loads of up to several hundred Gbit/s across L2-L7 layers. It generates realistic network traffic by mimicking application behaviors and protocols rather than using static PCAP replays. The system includes a library containing thousands of applications and tens of thousands of attack vectors to simulate real-world conditions.

The service provides access to various testing environments, including L2-L3 network transport, L4-L7 application services, and cybersecurity solutions like NGFW, WAF, and SASE. It also supports testing for 4G/5G, OpenRAN, and Wi-Fi networks, along with RFC protocol compliance tools.

According to CEO Nikolai Zilyaev, the cloud solution addresses challenges related to the restricted availability of global testing systems like IXIA in the Russian market. By providing remote access to updated software and libraries, the service helps companies bypass complex supply chains and reduce costs associated with maintaining physical test hardware.
