Russian software developers have generated 2 ₽ billion in revenue from sales of import-substituting solutions since 2022. These products were created within the framework of particularly significant projects (OZP) managed by industrial competence centers (ITSK).

Funding for these initiatives is provided by the Russian Foundation for Information Technology Development (RFRIT) and the Skolkovo Foundation. Between 2022 and 2025, RFRIT supported 33 projects with 18.9 ₽ billion, while Skolkovo funded 14 projects totaling 3.8 ₽ billion.

As of 2026, there are 197 active OZP projects with a total value of approximately 200 ₽ billion. Of these, 128 projects have been completed and are currently being scaled, while 69 remain in development. Additionally, 24 projects are being funded privately.

The scope of these projects includes systems for product design, lifecycle management, and production control. These solutions are primarily utilized in the automotive, aviation, engine manufacturing, and railway engineering sectors, with nearly 200 enterprises currently using them.
