Russian chip manufacturers showcased several hardware designs at the ME26 exhibition in Sochi. The demonstrations included various devices running on Baikal, Elvis, and Elbrus architectures, with some units running retro games.
The Baikal BE-U1000 microcontroller features three CloudBear RISC-V cores: two BR-350 units at 200 MHz and one BM-310 at 100 MHz. It includes 256 KB of flash, 192 KB of SRAM, and supports external flash, targeting robotics and IoT.
The Elvis Hypercom-U SoC integrates four Arm Cortex-A53 cores at 1.2 GHz, dual ELcore-50 DSPs, and a PowerVR GE8300 GPU. It supports up to 8 GB of LPDDR4 memory and various connectivity options like Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI.
MCST presented PCs based on the Elbrus architecture. Likely models include the 16-core Elbrus-16S, manufactured on a 16 nm process with 12 billion transistors, and the Elbrus-2S3, designed for mini-PCs and laptops.
