In September 2026, the Russian automotive market saw the registration of 26 new models, marking a record high for a single month. According to Autostat and the United Leasing Association, the new arrivals include 21 passenger cars, one light commercial vehicle, two trucks, and two buses.
The passenger car segment featured the debut of the Lada Azimut crossover and two models from the domestic brand Tenet, specifically the Plus L4 and Plus L6. Additionally, the market saw the introduction of premium sports cars, including the Bugatti Mistral and the Ferrari 849 Testarossa.
The list of new passenger vehicles also includes international models such as the Aito M6, Dongfeng EP 008, M-Hero II, GAC Aion i60, Aion Y Plus, Geely Galaxy Starshine 7, Hongqi Guoya, Leapmotor A10, Nissan Sakura, Smart #5, Suzuki Across, Toyota BZ3X, Volkswagen ID. Era 9X, Volvo EX90, Wey V9X, and Xiaomi YU7 GT.
In the commercial sector, the market welcomed the SRM Xinyuan LCV. The truck segment expanded with the addition of Sany SAC1200T and XCMG XCT130 mobile cranes, while the bus category was updated with the Higer KLQ6116GC and Zhongtong H12 models. For comparison, only 16 new models were registered in August.
