The Russian government has decided to maintain direct subsidies for the radio-electronic industry through 2029. The federal budget allocates 35.7 ₽ billion for the development of electronic components and modules between 2027 and 2029.

In addition to direct grants, the government plans to allocate 2.3 ₽ billion for subsidized lending programs to cover bank expenses in the same period. This dual approach aims to support projects that require significant capital before reaching stable revenue.

The Russian Science Foundation will receive 2.8 ₽ billion in 2027-2028 specifically for research and development (R&D) projects. These funds are part of the national program for the development of the electronic industry.

The total budget for the national program is set at 140.4 ₽ billion for 2027, 132.1 ₽ billion for 2028, and 126.8 ₽ billion for 2029. Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Trade had planned to allocate 428 ₽ billion for the 2026-2028 period.

Official targets for 2030 include increasing the share of domestic electronics in the local market to at least 70% and growing the industry's total revenue to 6.3 ₽ trillion. In 2025, the market was valued at 4 ₽ trillion with a 62% domestic share.
