RusHydro has completed its migration from SAP to the 1C:ERP Holding Management platform. The project, implemented in partnership with the T1 IT holding, covers the company's executive office and 22 branches, supporting over 2,000 concurrent users.
The initiative began in 2024 as part of the company's digital transformation and import substitution program. The new system integrates management, accounting, and tax reporting for more than 90 legal entities and 22 branches, supporting both Russian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
The 28-month project involved nearly 600 specialists, including 400 from RusHydro and 170 from T1. The team formulated over 2,500 functional and technical requirements, mapped 700 business processes, and addressed 2,000 functional gaps identified in the base 1C solution.
The transition has already reduced labor costs for accounting and planning departments by 25% through automation. The company expects to cut reporting timelines by 20% and reduce production costs by 15% by improving transparency in logistics and maintenance.
According to Deputy CEO Alexander Charikov, the unified system and the abandonment of SAP support are expected to lower overall operational and administrative expenses by 15%.
