RTK-TsOD has established a Certification Center for trusted IT infrastructure based on the Rostelecom voluntary certification system. The center will conduct independent testing of hardware and software to verify their suitability for critical information infrastructure (CII) facilities.
The center focuses on certifying servers, data storage systems, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and trusted software-hardware complexes. These measures align with Russian Government Decree No. 1912, which mandates the implementation of such systems at all CII sites by 2030.
Testing will take place at the RTK-TsOD R&D laboratory, which has been operational since 2020. The facility is equipped with infrastructure across two Tier 3 data centers and has previously tested over 150 types of IT solutions for both internal and external clients.
Vendors who successfully pass the testing process will receive a certificate of conformity. According to the company, this process serves as an objective quality assessment, helping manufacturers verify product specifications and identify areas for technical improvement.
