RTK-TsOD has provided EdgeTsentr with a comprehensive technological foundation for its high-load infrastructure hub. The project involved hosting hundreds of network and server units within the RTK-TsOD facility, ensuring 24/7/365 infrastructure availability.
To meet specific requirements, RTK-TsOD delivered custom-configured racks featuring four power supply lines instead of the standard two. The deployment also includes backup storage services designed to protect data against potential loss.
The facility allows EdgeTsentr to leverage multiple telecom operators for flexible traffic routing and the rapid setup of backup channels. This configuration helps minimize latency for end clients and optimizes overall data transmission costs.
A key component of the infrastructure is the SORM cluster, which operates under a strict security regime. RTK-TsOD implemented multi-level protection, including individual access control systems for racks, environmental monitoring, certified safes, and equipment sealing procedures.
According to Maxim Sedykh, Head of Infrastructure at EdgeTsentr, the partnership ensures the SLA-oriented performance required by their clients. Alexei Shuvalov, Director of the Client Center at RTK-TsOD, noted that the collaboration builds on years of joint projects.
