Royal Kludge has launched the Kunpeng T98 mechanical keyboard, featuring an aluminum alloy chassis and a five-layer Gasket structure. The device supports three-mode connectivity and offers a polling rate of 8kHz when used via USB-C or 2.4GHz wireless connection.
The keyboard utilizes a 98% layout with a 1.2mm slotted PCB and a slotted PC positioning plate. It includes hot-swappable switches, south-facing RGB backlighting, and a side-mounted RGB light strip. Users can choose between battery capacities of 8000mAh or 12000mAh.
The T98 is available in several color options, including white, blue, and black gradient variants. Depending on the chosen configuration, the keyboard comes with different switch types, such as Milk Yellow, Sea Cloud, or Rain V3, and supports either OEM or Cherry keycap profiles.
The pricing for the new keyboard series ranges from ¥319 to ¥399. The product is currently available for purchase through the company's official store on Tmall.
