Rostelecom and the developer Unistroy have signed a partnership agreement to equip new residential complexes in Perm with telecommunications infrastructure and digital services. The deal marks a transition from individual project-based cooperation to a systematic partnership between the two companies.
The collaboration between the companies began in 2024. Rostelecom has already connected the Prichal residential complex to its network and plans to provide infrastructure for the upcoming Unikum na Engelsa project. The agreement allows for the integration of digital services at the planning stage of new developments.
The infrastructure will be based on the Rostelecom Klyuch platform, which is included in the Russian software registry. The solution provides smart intercoms, video surveillance, access control, smart metering, and license plate recognition for parking barriers.
Rostelecom representatives noted that the integration of IT infrastructure directly impacts the liquidity and attractiveness of housing. By planning networks in advance, the companies aim to ensure that residents have access to high-speed internet and security systems from the moment they move in.
