Rostec has delivered the first serial batch of ANT-1000PM firefighting robotic systems. Developed by the High Precision Complexes holding, the equipment is intended for a major Russian fuel company. The robots are designed to extinguish fires remotely, removing the need for personnel to enter hazardous zones.
The system is built on the domestic ANT mini-loader platform manufactured by KEMZ. It features a remote-controlled nozzle capable of spraying fire-extinguishing agents up to 60 meters horizontally and 35 meters vertically. Operators can control the unit from a distance of up to 1 kilometer using integrated cameras and sensors.
The Prometheus remote control system was developed by VNII Signal and KEMZ with support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The complex successfully passed testing at the All-Russian Research Institute for Fire Protection of the EMERCOM of Russia.
The ANT platform also serves as a base for other specialized machinery. This includes the MGR-4 Shmel robotic demining system and the ANT-1000E electric loader for municipal tasks, the latter of which has already undergone trial operations in several cities.
