The Rosel holding has equipped 20% of schools in Kostroma with MTD-KA-19 stationary arch metal detectors. These devices are designed to detect both firearms and bladed weapons and feature integrated intelligent people counters.

The detection algorithm analyzes electromagnetic fields by evaluating both the mass and surface area of objects. Each unit includes six vertical detection zones, providing instant audio and visual alerts that pinpoint the exact location of a detected item. The sensitivity of the detectors is adjustable.

The equipment is manufactured by the Kaluga Electromechanical Plant (KEMZ), which is part of the Rosel holding. The plant handles full-scale serial production and supplies these devices to all regions across Russia as part of a broader anti-terrorism security modernization program.

The MTD-KA-19 detectors comply with all state safety and sanitary standards. The manufacturer confirms that the equipment is safe for use around children, pregnant women, and individuals with pacemakers.
