Robot.com has unveiled the R-dog, an autonomous delivery robot designed to navigate stairs and low obstacles. The machine features a furry tail, a red cap, and expressive eyes, aiming to replace manual delivery labor with automated systems.

The robot is equipped with two screens for displaying advertisements. On-board cameras and sensors track passer-by engagement, including facial recognition and sentiment analysis, to provide brands with real-time data on impressions and dwell time.

The company claims the robot can engage in natural voice conversations with pedestrians. This functionality is intended to support interactive advertising campaigns as the robot moves through city environments.

Regarding privacy, Robot.com states it implements limited data retention windows and controls access to personally identifiable information. Individuals may request data deletion or opt out of disclosures by contacting the company via email.
