Robinhood Crypto has officially added the XDC token to its platform for eligible users in the United States. The listing went live on October 8, 2026, allowing retail investors to buy, sell, and hold the asset alongside major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether.

Access to the token is subject to regional regulations, meaning it is not available in all states, including New York. Robinhood currently reports approximately 2.3 million active crypto trading users, providing the enterprise-focused XDC Network with significant exposure to a retail audience.

The XDC Network is a Layer-1 blockchain designed for trade finance, payments, and real-world asset tokenization. It supports over 2,000 transactions per second with a finality of approximately 2 seconds and maintains compliance with the ISO 20022 financial messaging standard.

Robinhood confirmed that it received integration fees for supporting the token, creating an additional revenue stream for its crypto division. The platform previously acquired the Bitstamp exchange in late 2024 for approximately $200 million, which had already listed XDC.
