Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network built with Arbitrum Orbit technology, launched its mainnet on July 1, 2026. The network has accumulated around $39 million in cumulative fees since its launch, with a total value locked of roughly $1.5 billion and decentralized exchange volume exceeding $50 billion.

During a 15-day period in September, the chain generated approximately $33 million in trading fees. This amount surpassed the combined earnings of Solana, which brought in about $11 million, and BNB Chain, which earned approximately $9 million during the same timeframe.

The company retains about 90% of all fees collected on the chain, while approximately 10% goes to Arbitrum treasury and development funds, and less than 1% is paid to Ethereum for base-layer gas costs.

Tokenized stock holdings on the platform grew from about $10 million to roughly $140 million within two months. The network's volume is significantly driven by memecoins and high-frequency decentralized trading.

Due to record-high gas fees in late August and early September, Robinhood absorbed gas costs for wallet users until September 29, 2026. Bernstein analysts maintained an Outperform rating for Robinhood Markets stock with a price target of $160.
