Robinhood Chain, a Layer 2 network launched on July 1, 2026, generated $50.2 million in transaction fees between September 1 and September 23. During this period, the network accounted for 57.3% of the total protocol revenue for Uniswap.

At its peak in early September, the chain generated approximately $8 million in daily fees. However, per-transaction costs dropped from roughly 64 cents to under 3 cents by mid-September, marking a 97% decline. Weekly DEX volume remained stable at $12 to 13 billion.

The network is built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack and shares 10% of its net revenue with Arbitrum. Robinhood subsidized gas fees for specific swaps until September 29, which influenced the cost structure.

Although the platform was designed to attract institutional capital for tokenized real-world assets, the majority of activity has been driven by retail traders focused on memecoins. The expiration of gas subsidies will test the sustainability of the current transaction volumes.
