Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network launched on July 1, 2026, has introduced a new lending mechanism for holders of the PONS token. Agents on the network now allow users to borrow dollars against their PONS holdings as collateral without selling their positions, while lenders earn interest by supplying stablecoins.

The network is built on the Arbitrum Orbit stack with chain ID 4663 and focuses on tokenized stocks and ETFs. At its launch, the platform offered over 95 Stock Tokens for 24/7 trading. The Pons launchpad, a non-custodial bonding-curve application, has facilitated the creation of hundreds of thousands of tokens.

The PONS token serves as a governance and utility asset. Trading fees on the platform are set at approximately 1%, with a 70/30 split between creators and the protocol. The protocol uses its share for automated buybacks and token burns. By early September 2026, 28 to 29 percent of the total supply had been burned.

Platform activity has increased significantly, with daily fees reaching $5,95 million in early September 2026. The market capitalization of the PONS token has historically fluctuated between a few million dollars and peaks of $300 million to $400 million. The network already hosts lending infrastructure through Morpho.
