Robinhood has integrated Ripple Treasury into its global treasury operations, marking a significant expansion of the partnership between the two companies. This move allows the trading platform to manage both fiat and digital assets through a unified system that combines traditional financial management with blockchain technology.

A core component of the agreement is the adoption of RLUSD, Ripple’s USD-backed stablecoin, which is now live on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp. The stablecoin is designed to facilitate institutional settlements on the XRP Ledger, enabling cross-border transactions to be completed in 3–5 seconds.

Additionally, the partnership incorporates Ripple Prime to provide financing support for approximately 20 digital assets on the Bitstamp exchange. This integration aims to enhance the capabilities available to institutional traders on the platform.

The Ripple Treasury platform was developed following Ripple’s acquisition of GTreasury for $1 billion in early 2026. By layering blockchain and stablecoin capabilities onto the existing software foundation, Ripple provides a comprehensive tool for corporate finance operations.

Despite the announcement, neither Robinhood nor Ripple has disclosed the specific financial terms of the deal or a definitive timeline for the full rollout of these services. The impact of the integration on settlement volumes remains to be seen.
