Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, claims that a major stock and bond market crash has begun. He links this event to his 2002 book, suggesting the downturn originated in Europe and Japan before spreading globally. Kiyosaki identifies several risk factors, including speculative AI investments, geopolitical tensions involving Iran, rising global debt, and the retirement of the Baby Boomer generation.
Kiyosaki advises investors to avoid cash savings, favoring real estate, oil wells, gold, silver, and Bitcoin. He describes these as hedges against government money printing. He compares the current situation to the Great Depression, which lasted from 1929 to 1954, and suggests that prepared investors can benefit from the crisis.
Financial analysts remain skeptical of these warnings, noting that Kiyosaki has issued similar crash predictions in 2020, 2022, and 2025. His previous forecasts for 2026, which included Bitcoin reaching $250 000, gold at $27 000, and silver at $200, have not materialized. Kiyosaki maintains that his focus is on financial education rather than timing.
