Ripple is targeting the corporate treasury market to expand the adoption of its stablecoin offerings. The company aims to leverage its Ripple Treasury division, which was formed following the $1 billion acquisition of software provider GTreasury in 2025.
The division currently serves approximately 1,200 corporate clients, including CFOs and treasurers. According to Jack McDonald, senior vice president of stablecoins at Ripple, these clients manage an annual transaction volume of roughly $13 trillion, which the company intends to transition onto blockchain infrastructure.
The broader stablecoin market now exceeds $300 billion in circulating supply. Ripple’s own stablecoin, RLUSD, has seen its circulating supply reach $2.4 billion, marking a growth of more than 50% over the past month, according to data from Token Terminal.
Industry trends indicate a shift in how stablecoins are utilized within financial services. Rather than serving as standalone products, they are increasingly integrated into credit facilities, cross-border settlement, and custody solutions as an underlying layer for liquidity management.
