Riot Platforms has fully repaid its $200 million secured credit facility with Coinbase Credit. The company completed the transaction on September 21, approximately seven months ahead of the scheduled April 2027 maturity date. No early repayment penalties or fees were applied to the settlement.

The repayment released 5,821 BTC that had been held as collateral, along with additional USDC and cash reserves. As of the end of June, the released Bitcoin was valued at approximately $340.7 million. This amount accounted for roughly 51% of the company's total holdings of 11,380 BTC.

The company is currently shifting its focus toward data-center operations in Rockdale, Texas. Riot has secured a 50 MW agreement with AMD and a 191 MW, 20-year lease with an AI laboratory. These data-center contracts are expected to generate total revenue of approximately $9.1 billion over their duration.

Following the repayment, Riot's entire treasury of 11,380 BTC is now unencumbered. The company reported liquidity exceeding $1.2 billion as of the second quarter of 2026. Management now has full control over these assets for potential future financing, capital expenditures, or treasury management.
