Ric Edelman, founder of Edelman Financial Engines and manager of $337 billion in assets, stated that investing in bitcoin currently mirrors the early investment opportunity in Amazon in 1999.
Edelman forecasts that the price of bitcoin will reach at least $500,000 by 2030. He suggests this valuation is achievable if global investors allocate 1% of their assets to the cryptocurrency.
The advisor noted that his prediction might be conservative, potentially underestimating both the final price and the timeline for reaching this milestone. He emphasized that traditional finance professionals now increasingly recognize the long-term viability of bitcoin.
Bitcoin recently traded near $76,522, following a 1% daily increase. The asset previously traded below $65,000 for several months, with a historical record high of $126,080 reached in October.
