Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky confirmed the fintech is considering a dual listing on the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. The company favors the U.S. market for its higher liquidity and larger pool of institutional and individual investors compared to other regions.

The company was recently valued at $115 billion. If the listing proceeds at this valuation, Revolut would become one of the largest public companies in England, surpassing the market capitalization of firms such as BP or Barclays. The CEO previously stated that an IPO would not occur before 2028.

Revolut continues to expand its global presence, recently securing a banking license in Colombia. The firm already holds licenses in the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Lithuania, and Mexico. Additionally, it has received conditional approval for a U.S. national bank charter, a payments license in the UAE, and an organization license in Peru.

The company is currently managing the aftermath of a cybersecurity incident. Hackers impersonated law enforcement to access customer data and have issued a ransom demand of $3 million in cryptocurrency, threatening to release the information if the payment is not met.
