Renault has announced the E-Space Concept, a new vehicle designed to reinterpret the brand's classic minivan philosophy for the modern era. The concept will make its official world debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for October 12.

The vehicle measures 4.7 meters in length, matching the dimensions of the current sixth-generation Espace SUV. Unlike the existing combustion-engine model, the E-Space Concept features a purely electric drivetrain, indicated by the E prefix in its name.

Design elements of the concept include a boxy silhouette, short overhangs, and a retro-futuristic grille. The exterior features cameras instead of traditional side mirrors and integrated winglets in the beltline instead of standard door handles.

The original Renault Espace, launched in 1984 in collaboration with Matra, was a pioneer in the European minivan segment. It offered a flexible interior with up to seven seats and swiveling front chairs, establishing a new category for family vehicles.
