Renault presented the E-Space, an all-electric van concept, at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The vehicle serves as a modern homage to the original 1984 Espace, retaining the classic large MPV silhouette. The concept measures 4.70 metres in length, 2.02 metres in width, and 1.67 metres in height, featuring 23-inch wheels and a retractable front splitter to enhance aerodynamic efficiency.

The interior is designed as a mobile living space with six individual seats. The second row can rotate 180 degrees or fold into a table. Passengers have access to two 12.3-inch screens mounted on the front seat backs, along with video game controllers, a mini-fridge, and an air purifier. The cabin features large glass surfaces and pillar-less access through doors opening in opposite directions.

The cockpit introduces the OpenR Panorama system, a curved widescreen display spanning the dashboard width, paired with two touchscreens near the steering wheel. Renault plans to integrate this technology into future premium models, including the Rafale and Scenic. While the E-Space is a design study, it serves as a platform for testing production-ready interior and interface concepts.

Renault emphasizes sustainability in the E-Space, utilizing bio-based resins in the paint and natural rubber in the tyres. The interior incorporates coloured straw for surfaces, a bio-material steering wheel made from castor oil and cotton, and a thick wool carpet. The company aims to transition from recycled materials to fully renewable raw materials in its future vehicle lineups.
