Kilian Kaminski, co-founder of the Vienna-based marketplace refurbed, will speak at the EU-Startups Summit 2027. The event is scheduled for May 13-14, 2027, in Malta, with approximately 2,500 participants expected to attend, including founders, investors, and ecosystem representatives.

During his keynote, Kaminski will discuss the integration of commercial success with environmental impact. He plans to analyze circular business models and demonstrate how sustainability and profitability can coexist within a fast-growing company.

Founded in 2017, refurbed has become a major European platform for refurbished electronics. Before launching the startup, Kaminski held positions at Amazon Germany, where he managed the Amazon Certified Refurbished Program and worked with key electronics retail partners.

Kaminski currently serves on the board of the European Refurbishment Association. His professional focus includes the regulatory framework of the electronics industry and the development of refurbishment as a distinct consumption category alongside new and used goods.
