RedStone has launched its Sanctions Oracle on the Ethereum mainnet. The tool allows smart contracts to verify wallet addresses against 463 official sanctions lists, including those from OFAC, the EU, the UK, and the UN, with data aggregated via OpenSanctions.

The system enables automated transaction blocking through a single read call within a smart contract. This process eliminates the need for offchain reviews, as screening occurs directly during the transaction execution.

The oracle updates its registry on a weekly basis, with each update including an onchain timestamp for verification. Security for these updates is managed through a multisig mechanism, requiring approval from multiple parties.

The interface is designed to be compatible with the Chainalysis Sanctions Oracle, allowing protocols to switch by updating a single contract address. RedStone, which has operated since 2021, currently secures assets across over 100 blockchain networks.
