The upcoming RedMagic 12 Pro+ smartphone has set a new performance record in the Geekbench 7 benchmark. The device, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, achieved 3677 points in the single-core test and 12679 points in the multi-core test.

These figures surpass the official performance estimates provided by Qualcomm, which range from 3600 points for single-core to 12300–12500 points for multi-core tasks. The smartphone also outperformed the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and the OnePlus 16, leading by approximately 1% in single-core and 2–3% in multi-core performance.

The manufacturer attributes this result to an advanced cooling system designed for the gaming-focused device. While specific details on the cooling technology remain undisclosed, the company claims it allows the processor to maintain higher frequencies for longer durations.

It is noted that the tested unit is a pre-release sample, meaning final specifications for commercial models may vary. The official unveiling of the RedMagic 12 Pro+ is scheduled for October 15.
