RedMagic has unveiled the official design of its upcoming flagship gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 12 Pro+. The device features a new color variant known as Deuterium Transparent Ice Blue. The manufacturer has confirmed that the official sales launch for the new model is scheduled for October 15.

The smartphone introduces several structural changes compared to its predecessor. The device is now thinner and lighter, featuring a more rounded chassis. A notable update is the display bezel, which has been reduced from 1.25 mm to 0.96 mm. The rear camera module is designed to be flush with the back panel, eliminating any protrusion.

The front display remains free of cutouts or holes for the front-facing camera, providing a seamless visual experience. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. To maintain performance during gaming sessions, the phone incorporates a dual-circuit liquid cooling system that targets both the processor and the battery.

The cooling system also features integrated RGB lighting effects that track the path of the liquid circulation. According to Jiang Chao, head of the gaming phone division at RedMagic, the development team focused on balancing high-end performance with a more compact form factor and improved ergonomics for daily use.
