RedMagic has unveiled the cooling system for the upcoming RedMagic 12 Pro+ smartphone, which is scheduled for a Chinese launch on October 15. The device features a liquid cooling system integrated with RGB lighting, marking a first for the brand's mobile lineup.

The new cooling architecture utilizes two circular loops that cover the processor and battery. A newly developed dual-chip micropump increases output pressure from 100 to 130 kPa, facilitating faster fluid circulation through thicker channels. The system employs the same fluorinated liquid used in AI server cooling.

The design includes a fan-assisted airflow area to further dissipate heat. An RGB light guide follows the cooling circuit, visually tracing the path of the liquid. The smartphone features a screen bezel reduced from 1.25 mm to 0.96 mm, alongside a thinner, lighter, and more rounded chassis.

Pre-orders for the RedMagic 12 Pro+ are currently open. The manufacturer claims the updated layout and increased cooling surface area significantly improve thermal management compared to the previous RedMagic 11 Pro+ model.
