Red Magic has opened pre-orders for its upcoming 12 Pro+ smartphone on the JD.com platform. The official launch event for the device is scheduled for October 15 at 14:30. Pricing details for the new model have not been disclosed yet.
The smartphone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 Extreme Edition processor. According to the manufacturer, the device focuses on improved ergonomics, being described as lighter, thinner, and more rounded than previous iterations.
Design updates include a reduction in screen bezels, which have been narrowed from 1.25 mm in the previous generation to 0.96 mm. The phone retains a full-screen display without cutouts, maintaining the series' signature under-display camera technology.
General Manager Jiang Chao stated that the device is engineered for gaming performance under high loads and extended usage. The design emphasizes a distinct aesthetic while maintaining the functional requirements of a dedicated gaming handset.
