The peripheral brand Realforce unveiled the GX1 Plus Keyboard Pikachu Edition at the Tokyo Game Show 2026. This special model features a gray chassis decorated with lightning symbols and Pikachu silhouettes, complemented by yellow keycaps for specific letters and function keys.
The device follows a TKL 80% layout and supports a wired connection with an 8kHz polling rate. It utilizes electrostatic capacitive switches with a 4.0mm travel distance and a 45gf actuation force. The keycaps are crafted from PBT material using dye-sublimation and double-shot injection molding techniques.
Pre-orders for the Pikachu-themed keyboard are scheduled to open by the end of this year. The announcement follows the recent release of the standard GX1 Plus model, which introduced upgraded PBT keycaps, a detachable cable design, and the 8kHz polling rate capability.
