RDW Computers and Basalt SPO have equipped a new classroom at the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering of P.G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University. The project aims to support the digital transformation of the university and provide students with access to domestic hardware and software solutions.

The new facility features 20 RDW Computers workstations, which are included in the Ministry of Industry and Trade's registry of Russian electronic products. The computers run on the Alt Education operating system, which is registered in the Unified Registry of Russian Software under number 1912.

The initiative is part of the Alt Academy project by Basalt SPO, designed to integrate Russian technology into the educational process. The classroom's interior design was developed by RDW Computers to support the university's academic environment.

Third-year students have already begun using the lab. During a masterclass, they utilized AI tools on the Alt OS platform to edit articles for the Ruviki encyclopedia and practiced using Alt Mir, a cloud-based virtual educational environment.
