Razer has launched a new collection of Hello Kitty and Friends keycaps in collaboration with Sanrio. The series features five iconic characters: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, My Melody, and Kuromi, designed as 3D PVC figures that attach to mechanical keyboards via a standard MX cross-stem mount.
The keycaps are sold in blind boxes, with each package containing one random character. While the five standard designs have equal distribution, Razer has included a rare chrome-plated hidden version that appears in approximately one out of every 24 boxes. Each box also includes a character card.
The keycaps are compatible with Razer BlackWidow V4 series keyboards and other models using standard MX cross-stem switches. Due to their size, which ranges from 19-44mm in length and 24-34mm in height, the company recommends placing them on the ESC key to avoid interference with typing.
Customers can purchase individual blind boxes or a set of six. The six-pack guarantees the collection of all five standard characters, with the sixth box containing a duplicate or potentially the rare chrome version. The set is currently available through Razer's official website and authorized retailers for $119.94.
