Razer has unveiled its new Wolverine V4 series of gaming controllers, designed for competitive play on Xbox and PC platforms. The lineup includes the Wolverine V4 Pro and the Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition, both targeting high-performance gaming needs.

The Wolverine V4 Pro features new capacitive joysticks, which Razer claims offer superior anti-interference and anti-drift performance compared to TMR or Hall effect sensors. These joysticks can detect 3,000 levels of movement, ensuring high precision for FPS and racing titles.

On PC, the Pro model supports a polling rate of up to 8000Hz, while the Xbox platform is limited to 250Hz. The controller also includes four magnetic swappable back buttons, a modular magnetic faceplate for customization, and six interchangeable joystick caps.

The Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition is a wired controller equipped with responsive PBT buttons and an 8-way floating D-pad. Like the Pro version, it supports an 8000Hz polling rate when connected to a PC. Both models allow users to store four onboard profiles for remapping keys and adjusting dead zones.
