Razer has officially released the Basilisk V4 Pro and HyperSpeed gaming mice. Both models feature a new input capability branded as the Perfect 180-degree Turn, designed to assist players who utilize low sensitivity settings in shooter games.

The function allows users to execute a rapid 180-degree rotation with minimal physical movement, aiming to balance precision with speed during combat scenarios. The feature operates essentially as a macro integrated directly into the mouse driver software.

The introduction of this tool has sparked debate regarding its legitimacy in competitive gaming. Professional CS2 player Robin Kool, known as ropz, has publicly stated that he believes the feature should be classified as cheating by Valve.
