Rayson's new modules are 78 x 23 x 3 mm in size. According to the company, they occupy approximately 60% less space on the motherboard than traditional DDR5 SO-DIMM memory. Rayson also claims a roughly 50% reduction in power consumption and a 70% increase in energy efficiency.

The LPCAMM2 modules use LPDDR5X chips, but remain removable and replaceable. This allows laptop manufacturers to integrate LPDDR characteristics without soldering the memory to the motherboard. In addition to the 96 GB version, Rayson is preparing to release modules with capacities of 16, 32, and 64 GB.
