Raspberry Pi reported record financial growth for the first half of 2026. The company's revenue surged by 90% to reach $256.9 million, while adjusted core profit more than doubled to $40.3 million. Following the announcement, the company's stock price rose by 15% during morning trading, marking its largest single-day gain since June 5.
The strong performance was driven by high demand from industrial clients and equipment manufacturers, particularly in sectors like robotics, factory automation, and medical technology. Favorable pricing and robust demand helped the company offset rising costs associated with memory chips, which had previously threatened profit margins.
Looking ahead, Raspberry Pi expects delivery volumes to increase further in the second half of the year. The company confirmed it has sufficient memory inventory to meet its 2026 production targets and has already begun strategic procurement for 2027. To mitigate future supply risks, the firm is expanding its supplier base and increasing production capacity in partnership with Sony.
Despite the positive outlook, management warned that profit per unit is expected to decline moderately as low-cost memory chips purchased in 2025 are exhausted. The company remains committed to its optimistic full-year forecast, leveraging its current market position to navigate the ongoing volatility in the semiconductor component market.
