New York-based financial platform Ramp has officially launched its services in the United Kingdom as of September 15, 2026. This move represents the company's first significant expansion outside of North America, following its entry into the Canadian market in July 2026.

The expansion was facilitated by the acquisition of European payments firm Billhop, which closed on February 19, 2026. This deal provided Ramp with regulatory authorizations from the UK Financial Conduct Authority and Swedish authorities, enabling operations across the UK and the European Union.

Businesses in the UK and EU can now register with Ramp directly without requiring a US entity. Early regional clients include ElevenLabs and Attio. The London office provides corporate cards, bill payments, procurement, travel management, and AI-enhanced financial controls.

In June 2026, Ramp secured $750 million in a funding round that brought the company's valuation to $44 billion. A portion of these funds is allocated to improving AI-driven spend visibility as the company competes with European firms like Pleo, Spendesk, and Soldo.
