Rabot Energy has successfully closed a Series B funding round, securing $50 million to scale its technology platform. The investment round was led by Endeit and the DeepTech & Climate Fonds, with participation from existing backers including HV Capital, Bosch Ventures, and High-Tech Gründerfonds. The company intends to use these funds to expand its operations across Germany and grow its customer base to one million users.

The firm provides dynamic electricity tariffs and recently introduced Rabot Flow, a solution featuring a smart meter and a plug-and-play home battery. This system allows users to store energy when it is affordable and abundant, potentially reducing household energy costs by 15 per cent. The battery is designed for standard sockets, making it accessible even for renters without solar installations.

Currently, the company serves over 200 000 customers, including 15 000 commercial and industrial clients, and has generated €200 million in revenue over the last three and a half years. Rabot Energy is also developing a virtual power plant model to coordinate energy storage across households. Future plans include integrating electric vehicle chargers and heat pumps into its network to enhance grid flexibility.
