Hamburg-based climate tech startup Rabot Energy has secured $50 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by Endeit Capital, with participation from Germany’s DeepTech & Climate Fonds, HV, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Bosch Ventures, CNI, Acurio Ventures, and vent.io.
The company plans to use the capital to expand its services for residential and business customers across Germany. A key objective is to reach one million customers and integrate additional hardware, including home batteries, electric vehicle chargers, and heat pumps, into its virtual power plant network.
Rabot Energy currently serves over 200,000 customers, including approximately 15,000 business clients. The company reports having supplied more than 600 million kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity and claims annual revenue of €200 million.
The firm’s core product, Rabot Flow, launched in June 2026, combines a dynamic tariff with a smart meter and a plug-in battery. The system is designed to lower household energy costs by 15% and does not require rooftop solar panels, making it accessible to renters.
The company has seen significant growth in its user base, rising from over 35,000 customers in January 2024 to over 100,000 by July 2025. As of October 2025, the startup employed approximately 135 people across its offices in Hamburg, Munich, and Berlin.
