On October 6, at the Digital Solutions IT Forum, R7 and Astra Group signed a strategic partnership agreement. The companies aim to advance import substitution and promote domestic software for the public and private sectors, aligning with the national project for data economy and digital transformation.

The collaboration focuses on developing the Astra Store application marketplace. The partners will prioritize software categories such as AI services, specialized industry programs, and cybersecurity tools. These products will adhere to strict standards for functionality and compatibility with the Astra Linux operating system.

The desktop version of the R7-Office suite has already passed compatibility testing with Astra Store. Engineers from both companies will now work to integrate their product lines and accelerate the development of new Russian technologies to replace foreign software solutions.

Beyond technical integration, the companies plan to launch educational initiatives to promote the adoption of domestic software in schools and universities. This effort builds on their long-standing cooperation within the Ready for Astra program, which has previously focused on equipping educational institutions.
