Pulsar has launched the X2F CrazyLight, a compact gaming mouse designed for fingertip grip. The device weighs 29 grams, making it 9 grams or 24 percent lighter than the previous year's X2F model.

The mouse features the Pulsar X2-S sensor, offering up to 42,000 DPI, a speed of 800 IPS, and 70 G acceleration. It supports an 8000 Hz polling rate and includes a 20K Lock mode to enhance response times at the cost of battery life.

The hardware includes optical switches rated for 100 million clicks and a dust-resistant TTC Gold encoder. The body is constructed from a blend of ABS plastic and nylon, measuring 87.5 by 31.1 by 31.6 millimeters.

Users can configure the device via Pulsar software or the Bibimbap web driver. The included 8K Link Dongle allows for storing four profiles and adjusting settings like polling rate and lift-off distance without additional software.

The Pulsar X2F CrazyLight is currently available for purchase on the Pulsar Lab website. The retail price for the new gaming peripheral is set at $149.95.
