ProLogium Technology has launched mass production of its Generation 3.5 Lithium Ceramic Battery (LCB). The 185.4 Ah large-format cell features a gravimetric energy density of 381 Wh/kg and a volumetric density of 903 Wh/L, as verified by TÜV Rheinland and UL Solutions.
The company maintains technology cooperation agreements with Mercedes-Benz, Nio, and Aiways. While cumulative LCB shipments have exceeded 2.4 million cells, the current Taoyuan facility's initial capacity is 0.5 GWh, with plans to expand to 1-2 GWh.
A new production site is planned for Dunkirk, France, with an initial phase of 4 GWh and a maximum design capacity of 44 GWh. The first phase of the French plant is expected to ramp up progressively toward 2030.
