Project Eleven has announced the launch of Strongpoint, a custodial platform designed for institutional investors. The service aims to protect digital assets as blockchain networks transition to post-quantum cryptography. The Zcash Foundation has joined as the first partner to assist with architecture, privacy requirements, and key management.
Strongpoint features an adaptive cryptographic model that allows companies to maintain existing audit and transaction approval systems despite changing encryption standards. This approach addresses market fragmentation, as research by Project Eleven into the top 20 layer-1 blockchains revealed that only 10 have published roadmaps for post-quantum security, with at least six different signature schemes under consideration.
The company, founded in 2024 by Alex Pruden and Conor Digan, is currently testing the platform with a closed group of partners. A full industrial launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. In January 2026, Project Eleven raised $20 million in a Series A round led by Castle Island Ventures, bringing its total funding to $26 million.
The firm has been actively expanding its capabilities in the sector. In September, Project Eleven acquired Riva Labs, a company specializing in post-quantum algorithms and wallets. Additionally, in July, the team introduced a prototype for a zero-knowledge proof mechanism designed to protect Bitcoin rights against potential quantum computing threats.
