Postgres Professional and the InfoSoft franchise network have signed a strategic partnership memorandum. The agreement was formalized by Anton Doroshkevich, project manager at InfoSoft, and Alexey Vikulin, business development lead at Postgres Professional.

The collaboration focuses on optimizing the Postgres Pro DBMS for 1C:Enterprise platforms. The partners aim to ensure technological compatibility and improve infrastructure reliability for corporate clients transitioning to domestic software stacks.

The joint effort involves adapting the DBMS to the architecture and query specifics of 1C systems, including ERP, Holding Management, and Payroll and HR Management. The teams will conduct load testing to optimize heavy query plans, memory allocation, and concurrency management.

InfoSoft, which has over 25 years of experience in 1C implementations, will work with Postgres Professional to develop migration methodologies for terabyte-scale databases. The goal is to minimize system downtime during the transition from foreign database platforms.

The partnership also includes knowledge sharing through webinars, seminars, and industry events. Engineering teams will maintain direct communication to address performance bottlenecks and refine Postgres Pro configurations based on real-world project data.
