Porsche has unveiled the Mission S, a new concept supercar positioned above the 911 series. The vehicle is considered a spiritual successor to the 918 Spyder and serves as the primary model for the Sportwagenschmiede 35 brand revival strategy. It is the first concept built on a new mid-engine platform.
Technical details remain preliminary. Reports suggest the car may feature a high-revving flat-eight engine, with some sources mentioning a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged configuration. A teaser video released on October 10 showed the tachometer reaching 8000 rpm and highlighted a retractable instrument cluster.
The official debut of the Mission S is scheduled for October 15, 2026. During the presentation, the company plans to reveal the full exterior design and comprehensive technical specifications of the concept vehicle.
