Porsche has unveiled the Mission S concept, a future flagship supercar that will join the brand's permanent lineup above the 911. The vehicle features a mid-engined layout and focuses on tactile driver engagement rather than standard digital interfaces.

The steering wheel includes a dedicated red button labeled On your own, which allows the driver to deactivate electronic assistance systems. Additionally, the car replaces a fixed central touchscreen with a retractable smartphone holder compatible with Apple MagSafe technology.

The interior features a height-adjustable gear lever designed for tactile feedback, with Porsche confirming the platform is engineered to support a manual gearbox. The vehicle also brings back a traditional key slot to the left of the steering wheel, utilizing a custom aluminum key.

The digital instrument cluster consists of five round gauges that physically move and rearrange based on the selected driving mode. The central tachometer includes a physical analog needle, while the seats incorporate integrated seatbelt buckles in the center bolster.

The exterior design includes a functional central rear fan inspired by the Porsche 917, serving as a cooling solution. Tobias Suhlmann, Head of Style at Porsche, confirmed these design choices aim to blend motorsport heritage with modern functionality.
