Polymarket US has introduced five-minute prediction markets for Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP. Users can place binary bets on whether the price of these assets will rise or fall within a five-minute timeframe.
The platform, which operates under the oversight of the CFTC through QCX LLC, uses automated settlement. Results are determined by the 60-second time-weighted average price (TWAP) provided by Chainlink.
This settlement method has been in effect since August 14, 2026, to ensure transparency and reduce the risk of market manipulation. The five-minute format was initially tested with Bitcoin in February 2026.
The recent launch on October 27, 2026, follows the introduction of 15-minute, hourly, and daily markets for ETH, SOL, and XRP, which were added to the US application on October 15, 2026.
