Polestar has introduced two new subscription tiers, Plus and Pro, for its European public charging service. The Plus plan costs €7.99 per month and provides a 15 per cent discount at EnBW, Shell Recharge, Vattenfall, Mer, and Fastned. The Pro plan, priced at €14.99 monthly, offers a 30 per cent discount and adds Ionity and Allego to the network list.
The expansion increases access to discounted charging points. Plus users gain access to over 104,000 points across Europe, while Pro users can access more than 118,000. These figures represent growth of 26 per cent and 43 per cent respectively compared to previous offerings. In Germany specifically, the number of discounted points has risen to over 14,000 for Plus and over 17,000 for Pro subscribers.
Polestar Charge now provides access to more than 1.25 million public charging points throughout Europe, including Tesla Superchargers. This service, developed with Plugsurfing, has nearly doubled its reach since launching in 2024 with 650,000 points. Users manage access through the Polestar app, a charging card, or Plug & Charge for compatible vehicles.
The company reported 161,000 charging sessions between June and August 2026. This service update follows a period where global sales stagnated in the first half of 2026, leading Polestar to lower its full-year growth forecast to a low to mid-single-digit percentage range.
